AMY OSABA

A self-taught designer, you could say that flowers found Amy rather than the other way around. After a successful career as a professional ballet dancer, Amy’s innate sense of movement, grace and grand vision translated seamlessly to the magical world of florals and design. At first glance, her signature work evokes a sense of loose, wild abandon while her keen eye and desire for precision have cemented her reputation as one of the South’s most sought-after event designers. Clients, colleagues and friends alike admire Amy for her balanced approach to art and life. She believes in the power of good fun and strong females to make the world go round.

MARY MCLEOD | DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Mary, known around the studio as “Mick”, has been with Amy since 2012. Working her way up from intern and apprentice, Mary now puts her logistically-focused heart to work as Director of Operations. Not only does she work closely with all of the AOD ladies to help organize events, budget the studio, and direct marketing, she’s equally adept at creating some of our most lush arrangements and installations. Mick also seems to be the only one who knows how to fix the wifi.

MARY WYNN | PRODUCTION MANAGER

Affectionately known as “Teensie,” the other Mary in the AOD studio has certainly made her mark. Joining the team in 2015 with a background in event design and non-profit work, Wynn now keeps our vendors and clients happy while working as Amy’s right-hand gal. She feels lucky to mix business with pleasure, melding her love of creativity with an equal affinity for order. Though events and florals are fleeting, the lasting impression that Mary and the ladies of AOD make on their clients is undeniable. When she's not running the studio, you can find sweet Teensie cracking a joke with friends and exploring the city.

ASHLEY KILLEN | SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER + DESIGNER

AShley came to the AOD team through a bit of serendipity. She hails from the deep south, and landed an apprenticeship with amy after several years of estate gardening. It was during this time that ashley decided that she and flowers were made for one another. She had found the butter to her bread- the sauce to her spaghetti. She is proud to have worked her way up from intern to full-time designer. These days she spends her time planning and designing while also showcasing the AOD work and philosophy through social media. Don't let her sweet southern drawl and blonde locks fool you; this gal knows how to get her hands dirty as a master forager and quick-witted dynamo. and we can't forget about her sidekick, a tiny dog named maddie, who is also her best friend.
